SELLING YOUR RECORDS
Whether you have an old collection gathering dust, are an avid record collector, or you may have inherited a collection - we are always interested in taking a look at purchasing your records! We can inspect and buy a collection any day from 11 AM to 8 PM. This also includes Saturday & Sunday . By calling us ahead of time we can review your collection and set a time to see it. Unlike local shops we provide access to a wider audience of potential buyers. Our website sells across Canada . So we offer good prices for great collections
I ONLY HAVE A FEW RECORDS TO SELL ?
We buy collections of any size. Whether you are looking to sell two or three LP’s that you just don’t listen to anymore, or you are clearing out a storage space filled with vinyl, we are always happy to take a look at your records.
We are mainly interested in these genres:
- Classic Rock - Synth Pop - Heavy Metal - Jazz - Blues - Funk / R and B / Soul - Punk / New Wave - Folk - Indie / Grunge / Garage - Reggae - Psych - Prog - Rockabilly - Alternative Please bear in mind that hit records of the 70’s and 80’s sold millions of copies, and are often extremely common used records. We will happily give you a breakdown of what dollar amount you are being offered for each record that you sell.
Are there any styles of music we DO NOT buy?
We rarely buy Classical, Vocal, Easy Listening, and Religious records. Or the older Readers Digest Box sets .If you have a large collection in these genres and still want us to take a look, please call and speak to one of our buyers first. We do not buy 78’s or 45’s
Condition of The Vinyl & The Covers is Important
They must be from a Non Smoking home , free of mustiness and water stains. Not warped . If the covers are damaged , marked up , ring worn ,wityh stickers this brings down the value. The condition of the album and the covers is important for resale., as we sell all across Canada.
What is the buying process and how long will it take?
We examine the condition of every record that we buy. We do not buy badly scratched records, or records with water damage of any kind. Most of the time we can do a buy in 30 minutes or less. However, at busier times, or if you have a larger collection, you may have to wait a bit longer. You are always welcome to leave your records with us and we will give you a call when we are ready to make you an offer. In some cases this may take a few hours.
