Description Released in 1988, I Want to Be Your Property was the breakout single from UK duo Blue Mercedes, blending dance-pop, funk, and club-ready production. The track reached No. 7 on the UK Singles Chart and became a staple in North American clubs, topping the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in early 1988.

Produced and remixed by Phil Harding and Ian Curnow for PWL (Pete Waterman Limited), the single features three extended mixes tailored for dancefloor impact.
