10 Things I Hate About You (Widescreen) [DVD]

Almost makes you love Shakespeare. For someone who enjoyed The Taming of the Shrew, this cracked me up. Fantastic acting, and a great story line. Granted, Cat/Kate in the Shakespearean version is genuinely violent and scary, and the man does literally 'tame' her by starving her and tormenting her... so the modern version is a relief. But yes, it's a great way to introduce themes of Shakespeare to younger people. And as a young person who loved it anyway, it's great. Who doesn't enjoy Heath Ledger singing in the bleachers?
