Here's a Canadian pressing of Andrew Gold's third solo effort, "All This And Heaven Too," from 1978 on Asylum Records. Gold was riding high at this point, having just scored his biggest hit with "Lonely Boy" from his previous album, and this follow-up showcases his remarkable talent as both a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. What many collectors don't realize is that Gold was already a seasoned studio veteran by this time, having played on Linda Ronstadt's classic mid-70s albums and been a founding member of Wax with 10cc's Graham Gouldman. His pop sensibilities were razor-sharp, and this album demonstrates his ability to craft sophisticated arrangements that never sacrifice melody for complexity.
