Andy Williams' 1965 Columbia release "Canadian Sunset" is a collection of easy listening pop and light jazz vocal recordings featuring the smooth-voiced American crooner at the height of his mainstream popularity. The album includes Williams' polished interpretations of standards and popular songs of the era, fitting neatly into the sophisticated adult pop sound he was known for throughout the 1960s. The title track, originally an instrumental by Hugo Winterhalter, gets the Williams vocal treatment alongside a program of similarly styled material.
