Cover Notes Their debut album, Black Oak Arkansas introduced the band’s gritty Southern sound and rebellious spirit. This Canadian pressing features the original sepia-toned truck photo overlaid on a map of Arkansas—an homage to their roots and road-tested style.
Additional Notes Formed in the Ozarks, the band took its name from their hometown and quickly became known for their high-voltage performances. Produced by Tom Dowd, this album laid the foundation for their signature blend of bluesy rock and backwoods bravado.
