Blood, Sweat & Tears' 1976 album "More Than Ever" finds the pioneering jazz-rock group in a later lineup configuration, several years removed from their late-60s commercial peak. The band continues in their signature brass-driven fusion style, blending rock rhythms with jazz arrangements and horn-heavy ensemble playing. By this point the group had cycled through multiple vocalists since David Clayton-Thomas's earlier departures and returns, and the album reflects a band still working within the sound they helped establish but with diminished commercial traction.
