Blues Magoos were a New York-based garage rock band, and Psychedelic Lollipop was their debut album, released on Mercury in 1966. The record sits at the intersection of British Invasion-influenced rock and early American psychedelia, with a raw, organ-driven sound typical of the mid-60s garage scene. The standout track is "We Ain't Got Nothin' Yet," which became a top-five hit and remains one of the more recognizable songs of the era.
