Coney Hatch formed in Toronto in the early 1980s and quickly became a staple of Canadian hard rock. Known for their melodic hooks, dual guitar attack, and gritty vocals, the band toured with Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Cheap Trick, earning a loyal fanbase across North America.
Released in 1983, Outa Hand was their second studio album, produced by Max Norman (Ozzy Osbourne, Armored Saint). It features tighter songwriting and heavier production than their debut, with standout tracks like “First Time for Everything” and “Some Like It Hot.”
