Dave Davies, lead guitarist of The Kinks, released "Chosen People" in 1983 on Warner Bros. Records as his second solo studio album. The record is a synth-heavy pop rock effort very much of its era, leaning into the polished, keyboard-driven sound that dominated early 1980s rock production. It marked a continuation of Davies' solo work following his 1980 debut "AFL1-3603," though it found only modest commercial success.
