David Lee Roth's first full solo studio album, released in 1986 following his departure from Van Halen. A hard rock record built around the virtuoso guitar work of Steve Vai, along with bassist Billy Sheehan and drummer Gregg Bissonette, the album leans into a flashy, high-energy sound that carries over some of Roth's showman sensibility from his Van Halen years. "Yankee Rose" and "Goin' Crazy" were the notable singles from the record.
