Known Tracks

Because this was a scarce, independent local release, full digital tracklists aren't indexed on major streaming platforms, but the key standout songs from the album include:

1. "The Journey" – The title track; a traditional-style sea voyage / Atlantic crossing song reflecting on emigration and the journey across the waters to Cape Breton.

2. "The Promise" – A poignant narrative track centered on themes of migration, hope, and leaving the homeland.

3. "Light On a Distant Shore" – A maritime ballad featuring lead vocals by Melanie Ross, backed by melodic acoustic instrumentals.

4. "The AntiChantey" – A humorous, tongue-in-cheek departure from the seafaring drama of the rest of the album; styled like a traditional sea shanty/chantey, but written entirely about various types of cheese.
