This Canadian pressing blends country, folk, and bluegrass with heartfelt originals and covers of Gram Parsons, Mickey Newbury, and Allen Reynolds. Highlights include “Catfish John,” “My Uncle,” and “Song for Woodland.”

Produced by Denis LePage and engineered by Jack Clement. Features vocals and instrumentation from J. Crowley, D. Lunn, L. Taylor, and J. Hedgecoke. A warm, rootsy LP with vintage Nashville charm.
