Doug and the Slugs were a Vancouver-based rock band led by vocalist Doug Bennett, known for their blend of new wave, pop, and rock with a sardonic, witty edge. Wrap It! is their second album, released in 1981 on Ritdong Records. The record continues in the vein of their debut, mixing catchy keyboard-driven rock with Bennett's dry, tongue-in-cheek songwriting, and includes "Making It Work," which received solid Canadian radio play.
