Dutch Mason Blues Band's *Special Brew* is a 1980 Canadian blues album released on the Attic label. Dutch Mason, often called the Father of the Blues in Canada, was a Nova Scotia-born guitarist and vocalist who spent decades playing roadhouse blues across the Maritimes and beyond. The album captures his gritty, no-frills approach to electric blues, rooted in the Chicago and Delta traditions he absorbed from artists like Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf.
