Electric Light Orchestra's "Time" is a 1981 concept album released on Jet Records, built around a science fiction theme of a man transported to the year 2095. Jeff Lynne led the band in a more synthesizer-heavy direction here than on earlier records, resulting in a polished, electronic-tinged rock sound that reflected the trends of the early eighties. "Hold On Tight" was the album's biggest hit, and "Twilight" also received notable airplay.
