Elvis Presley's "Elvis In Concert" is a live double album released in 1977 on RCA, recorded during his final tour dates in June of that year and serving as the companion soundtrack to a CBS television special. The album captures Presley in his later Las Vegas-style era, mixing rock and roll classics, pop ballads, and gospel-tinged numbers with a full band and orchestral backing. Standout performances include "Jailhouse Rock," "Hound Dog," and "My Way," along with a spoken introduction by his father Vernon Presley. It was released posthumously, as Elvis passed away in August 1977 before the special aired.
