Here's a Canadian pressing of Fleetwood Mac's ambitious 1979 double album "Tusk" – the band's bold creative leap following the massive commercial success of "Rumours." After selling over 10 million copies of their previous effort, the Mac had both the artistic freedom and studio budget to experiment, and boy did they use it. Recorded primarily at Dodger Stadium and Village Recorder, this album saw the band incorporating new wave influences, drum machines, and even the USC Trojan Marching Band on the iconic title track. Lindsey Buckingham pushed his production vision to new territories, creating a fascinating tension between his avant-garde tendencies and the band's pop sensibilities.
