The Cape Breton Gaelic Choir, formed in the 1980s, under the direction of Mae Cameron, who has long been known as a Gaelic singer and Teacher. The group's Gaelic instructor is Kay MacDonald of New Waterford. The choir has performed at many venues in Nova Scotia and has travelled to other parts of Canada and to the U.S.
