Gary's Gang was a New York-based funk and disco group led by producer Eric Matthew, and "Keep On Dancin'" was their 1979 debut album on Columbia Records. The record is a straightforward late-70s disco and funk release built around dancefloor grooves and energetic arrangements. The title track "Keep On Dancin'" was a genuine club hit, reaching the top five on the Billboard disco chart and getting solid radio play at the time.
