Here's a pressing that doesn't surface in collections nearly enough – Glen Campbell's "The Goodtime Album" from 1970 on Canadian Capitol. This release came at an interesting crossroads in Campbell's career, just as he was transitioning from his peak "Wichita Lineman" and "Galveston" era into the early 70s. While it didn't produce any massive radio hits, the album showcases Campbell's underrated versatility as an interpreter, featuring his takes on contemporary material alongside more traditional country fare. The Canadian pressing is particularly noteworthy for its superior pressing quality compared to many US issues from this period – Capitol's Canadian plant was consistently delivering cleaner vinyl during these years.
