Harry Chapin's 1976 double live album on Elektra captures the Long Island singer-songwriter performing his narrative folk-rock material in concert. Chapin was known for his detailed, story-driven songs, and the live format suited his style well, allowing the extended versions of tracks like "Cat's in the Cradle" and "Taxi" to breathe. The album draws from his catalog up to that point and showcases his engaging storytelling approach alongside his backing band.
