Heart's self-titled 1985 album was a major commercial comeback for the Seattle rock duo of sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson, released on Capitol Records after years on Portrait. The record leaned into the polished, production-heavy arena rock sound of the mid-80s and yielded several big hits, including "What About Love," "Never," and "These Dreams," the latter of which hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100. It marked a stylistic shift toward a more radio-friendly, synth-inflected hard rock sound compared to their earlier, more guitar-driven work.
