Ian Tamblyn is a Canadian singer-songwriter who released this self-titled debut album in 1976 on Posterity Records. The record falls into folk rock territory, blending acoustic-driven arrangements with the kind of introspective songwriting that was common in the mid-seventies Canadian singer-songwriter scene. Tamblyn would go on to have a long career as both a musician and explorer, but this early effort captures him in a stripped-back, folk-influenced mode.
