Here's something special for the serious James Taylor collector - his debut album on Apple Records from 1969, pressed in Canada. This was Taylor's introduction to the world, released when he was just 21 and the first non-British artist signed to The Beatles' Apple label. Paul McCartney himself played bass on "Carolina In My Mind" and provided backing vocals, while George Harrison contributed guitar work. The album showcases Taylor's raw, vulnerable songwriting before he became the polished superstar we know today, featuring early versions of classics like "Something in the Way She Moves" and the aforementioned "Carolina In My Mind."
