Pearl is the final studio album from Janis Joplin, released posthumously in 1971 following her death in October 1970. The record features her full-throated blues rock vocals backed by the Full Tilt Boogie Band, and includes some of her best-known recordings, among them "Me and Bobby McGee" and "Mercedes Benz." It remains one of the definitive albums of the early 1970s rock and blues scene.
