Living in the Past is a 1972 double LP compilation from British rock band Jethro Tull, collecting non-album singles, B-sides, and live recordings spanning roughly 1968 to 1971. The set draws from the band's early blues-influenced period through their more developed folk and progressive rock sound, featuring tracks like the title song "Living in the Past" and "Teacher." It offers a solid cross-section of the band's output during a commercially and artistically active stretch under frontman Ian Anderson.
