Jethro Tull's debut album, originally released in 1968 and reissued here in 2019, captures the British band in their earliest form as a blues-driven rock outfit before they moved into the folk and progressive rock territory they became known for. Fronted by Ian Anderson on flute and vocals, the record leans heavily on Chicago blues influences filtered through a late-60s British rock lens. Standout tracks include "Song for Jeffrey" and a cover of Roland Kirk's "Serenade to a Cuckoo," which showcases Anderson's flute work prominently.

Issued in a double pocket gatefold sleeve with a full-size 24-page booklet and a plain white, diamond cut, poly-lined inner sleeve.
