Joe Walsh's 1978 solo album on Asylum Records, "But Seriously, Folks..." finds the guitarist balancing hard rock with more accessible pop-leaning material. Best known for containing "Life's Been Good," a sardonic, extended rock track that became one of his signature songs, the album also includes "Second Case" and other solid rock cuts. Walsh was riding high at this point as a member of the Eagles while continuing his solo career, and the record reflects that dual identity -- polished but still rooted in his blues-rock sensibilities.
