Joe Walsh's third solo album, released in 1973 on ABC/Dunhill Records, finds the former James Gang guitarist leaning into a laid-back, good-time rock sound with strong contributions from his backing band Barnstorm. The record produced two of his best-known tracks, "Rocky Mountain Way" and "Meadows," the former becoming one of his signature songs and a staple of classic rock radio. It sits comfortably between blues-tinged hard rock and a looser, more atmospheric style that would define his mid-70s work.
