Johann Sebastian Bach's Six English Suites, performed by harpsichordist Helmut Walcha, released on the US label Mace Records. Walcha was a blind German organist and harpsichordist who became one of the leading interpreters of Bach's keyboard works in the mid-twentieth century. The English Suites are a set of six keyboard suites composed by Bach, each following a structured sequence of dance movements including preludes, allemandes, courantes, sarabandes, and gigues.
