Notes Released just weeks before Lennon’s death, this Canadian pressing of Double Fantasy captures the intimate dialogue between Lennon and Ono. Alternating tracks reflect their artistic partnership—Lennon’s melodic optimism meets Ono’s avant-garde edge. “(Just Like) Starting Over” and “Woman” became posthumous anthems, while “Beautiful Boy” remains one of Lennon’s most tender compositions. Produced with Jack Douglas, the album won Album of the Year at the 1982 Grammys.
