Joseph Haydn's Symphony No. 88 in G and Symphony No. 104 in D ("London") performed by The Cleveland Orchestra under George Szell, released on Columbia Odyssey in 1978. The recording captures two of Haydn's most celebrated late symphonies, with No. 104 being the last symphony he composed and a cornerstone of the orchestral repertoire. Szell's tenure with the Cleveland Orchestra in the 1950s and 60s produced some of the most respected Haydn recordings of that era, and this Odyssey release brought those performances to a budget reissue format.
