Here's a pressing that often gets overlooked by collectors focused on the more obvious classics, but "Juice" represents Juice Newton at her commercial and artistic peak. This 1981 Capitol release spawned three major hits that dominated both pop and country charts - "Angel of the Morning," "Queen of Hearts," and "The Sweetest Thing (I've Ever Known)" - making Newton one of the few artists to successfully straddle both genres during the early MTV era. Her rock-tinged approach to country-pop helped bridge the gap between the outlaw country movement and the slick production values that would define '80s music.
