Kate and Anna McGarrigle's second album, released on Warner Bros. in 1977, finds the Montreal-based Canadian folk duo continuing in the acoustic, intimate style of their acclaimed debut. The record blends folk, country, and chamber pop influences, featuring the sisters' close harmonies and their mix of English and French songwriting. Tracks like "Southern Boys" and "Blanche comme la neige" showcase the album's gentle, understated character.
