KC & The Sunshine Band's self-titled 1975 album was the Miami-based funk and disco outfit's second record, led by Harry Wayne Casey and Richard Finch. The album produced two major hit singles in "Get Down Tonight" and "That's the Way (I Like It)," both of which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. It sits squarely in the mid-70s Miami soul and disco sound the group helped define, built around tight horn arrangements, danceable grooves, and Casey's vocal work.
