Kenny Rogers & The First Edition's 1971 Greatest Hits compilation on Reprise Records collects the group's most notable work from their late 1960s run, blending country, folk, and psychedelic pop. The Houston-born group, fronted by Rogers before his later solo country stardom, found success with singles like "Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)" and "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town," both represented here.
