Led Zeppelin's fifth studio album, released in 1973 on Atlantic Records, finds the band expanding beyond their blues-heavy roots into a broader range of styles including funk, reggae, and psychedelia alongside their signature hard rock. The album opens with "The Song Remains the Same" and "The Rain Song" and also features "Over the Hills and Far Away" and "No Quarter," with the band showing considerable range across its eight tracks. D'yer Mak'er, their reggae-influenced cut, remains one of the more divisive tracks in their catalog.
