From Holger Petersen, the producer:
"Liam Clancy released Farewell to Tarwaithie himself, to sell off stage as I recall. I had produced the album, and also helped with the manufacturing of the album. I probably suggested the name Plainsong for his label and we manufactured for him using the Stony Plain name. Liam's album was the only one on the Plainsong label to my knowledge."
This album was also released by "Release Records" of Ireland as "Farewell to Tarwathie" No. BRL 4072. (Slight change to the spelling.) The track order varies from the original.
The album was re-titled and re-issued in 1982 under the Shanachie Records label No. SHAN 52005 as "The Dutchman" and released again as "The Dutchman" as a CD on June 14 1993 on Shanachie Records No. SHANCD 5205. Track order on "The Dutchman" release varies from the original.
