Calumet is the 1973 album from Lobo, the American singer-songwriter born Roland Kent LaVoie, best known for his early 1970s soft rock and pop hits. Following his successful earlier singles, this record continues in his laid-back, melodic style that defined his sound during that era. Lobo had already established himself with tracks like "Me and You and a Dog Named Boo" and "I'd Love You to Want Me," and Calumet fits within that same mellow, acoustic-tinged pop rock tradition.
