Lobo is the 1979 self-titled album from the American singer-songwriter born Kent LaVoie, who found success in the early 1970s with soft rock hits like "Me and You and a Dog Named Boo" and "I'd Love You to Want Me." By the time this record came out on MCA, his sound had settled into a polished, easy-listening pop-rock style that was typical of the late-70s adult contemporary market. It marks a later-career effort from an artist who was best known for his work earlier in the decade.
