Lobo was an American singer-songwriter born Roland Kent Lavoie, who had a run of soft rock and pop hits in the early 1970s. This 1975 compilation on Big Tree Records collects his best-known material, including the laid-back acoustic pop of "Me and You and a Dog Named Boo" and the sentimental "I'd Love You to Want Me," both of which reached the top of the charts. The record is a solid overview of his easy, melodic style that fit comfortably into the soft rock format of the era.
