The London Symphony Orchestra's 1972 recording of Tommy is a full orchestral adaptation of The Who's 1969 rock opera, released on Ode Records. Conducted by David Measham and featuring an array of rock and classical guest performers including Rod Stewart, Ringo Starr, Richie Havens, and Sandy Denny, it reimagines the original album's songs through a large-scale orchestral lens. The piece follows the story of the deaf, dumb, and blind boy Tommy, with highlights including "Pinball Wizard" and "See Me, Feel Me."
