Prima was a New Orleans-born trumpeter and entertainer, and together with his wife Keely Smith they formed one of the most energetic lounge acts of the Las Vegas era. The album captures their trademark blend of jump blues, Dixieland jazz, and big personality showmanship, and includes their well-known take on "That Old Black Magic."
