Michael Jackson's *This Is It* is a 2010 soundtrack release tied to the concert documentary of the same name, compiled from rehearsal footage of Jackson's planned comeback tour that never took place following his death in 2009. The double album pulls together a mix of career-spanning material including reworked versions of classics like "Thriller," "Billie Jean," and "Beat It," alongside some deeper cuts, capturing Jackson working through arrangements with his band and production team. It sits across pop, funk, soul, and R&B, reflecting the broad range of styles that defined his catalog from the late 1970s through the 2000s.
