"Margo always loved mysteries. She loved mysteries so much, she became one." Quentin (Wolff) is about to graduate and head to college to become a doctor. He has lived by the book for his entire high school career. When his neighbor Margo (Delevingne) shows up one night asking for a favor he decides to take a chance for the first time in his life. When she shows up missing he finds a few clues she left behind telling him where she went. School gets put on the back burner in favor of the adventure to track down the girl he suddenly is in love with. This is a movie my 12 year old daughter was very excited to watch. I mainly watched it because she wanted to. When it was over I liked it a lot more than I was expecting to and she was a little disappointed. These teenage coming-of-age movies are really starting to grow on me. The recent Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Way Way Back, and Me and Earl and the Dying Girl are just a few that I have really loved. I would add this one to the mix. If you liked those movies I would check this one out as well. This is not a typical paint-by-numbers movie and keeps you wondering the whole time. I like movies that can do that. Overall, a movie that I surprisingly really liked, but my daughter, who had high expectations, didn't like it as much. I recommend this though. I give it a high B+.
