Paul Horn's "Inside II" is a 1972 follow-up to his acclaimed "Inside" album, recorded by the Canadian flutist and new age jazz musician in the resonant acoustic space of the Taj Mahal. Like its predecessor, the record features Horn performing solo flute improvisations that interact with the natural echo and reverberation of the monument's interior, blending jazz, world music, and meditative ambient elements into something closer to tone poetry than conventional jazz performance.
