Pink Floyd's 1983 album "The Final Cut" is widely considered Roger Waters' most personal work under the band name, functioning largely as a solo record exploring themes of grief, war, and disillusionment in the wake of the Falklands War. It serves as a spiritual companion to "The Wall," drawing heavily on unused material from those sessions. The album features "Not Now John," one of the few tracks with notable commercial presence, and "The Fletcher Memorial Home."
