Here's a Canadian Elektra pressing of Queen's sixth studio album, one of their most commercially successful and enduring releases. *News of the World* marked a pivotal moment for the band, showcasing their ability to craft both anthemic stadium rockers and stripped-down, driving rock songs. While everyone knows "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions," this album runs much deeper, featuring Freddie Mercury's tender "My Melancholy Blues" and the hard-hitting "Sheer Heart Attack" that gave their previous album its name. The iconic robot artwork by sci-fi illustrator Frank Kelly Freas became one of rock's most recognizable album covers, originally created for a 1953 Astounding Science Fiction magazine.
