Brave Belt was a Canadian rock band formed in the early 1970s by former Guess Who members Randy Bachman and Chad Allan, along with C.F. Turner and Rob Bachman, serving as a transitional project before Randy Bachman went on to form Bachman-Turner Overdrive. *As Brave Belt* is a 1975 compilation released on Reprise Records pulling together material from the band's earlier albums, offering a look at their straightforward hard rock and country-tinged rock sound. The record captures the group in a rawer, less polished state than BTO's later arena rock output.
